When single-mothers gain stable work, families thrive and communities grow stronger.

I was raised by a single-mother working a low-income job. Through a strong local support network -- family, educators, and community organizations -- she advanced economically and created stability for our family. My sister and I both completed college and entered professional careers, breaking the cycle of poverty.
But I've seen what happens when that network isn't there. When the support is fragmented, the guidance is missing, and a raise or new job quietly triggers a loss of benefits no one saw coming. Progress stalls. Families stay stuck -- not for lack of effort, but lack of infrastructure.
That experience shapes everything I do. As a board member of a local non-profit organization that serves children, students, and families across the North Hills community in Glenside, PA, I've organized health clinics, developed programming for older adults, and built partnerships with Montgomery County agencies, financial institutions, universities, and local organizations. That work gave me a firsthand understanding of what it takes to build community infrastructure that actually reaches the people who need it most.
I bring that experience, along with lived knowledge and deep local connections, to help single mothers navigate the full picture -- not just a better paycheck, but a real path to economic mobility and long-term stability for their families.
This work is personal. And it's built to last.
